Father,
Grant me
The Serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The Courage to change the things I can, and
The Wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace;
Taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that, by Your Spirit, You will
Transform me as I surrender to Your will and
Give me
Eyes to see,
Ears to hear, and
A heart that believes that
You will complete the work You have begun in my life.

So that I may
Personally Experience,
The Joy of the forgiveness of all my sins,
The Wonder of God’s Salvation for me;
And Behold The Beauty of Jesus Christ,
Who gave His life for me, so that I may be forever free!
